Gemini Full Moon December 2025: Ready to Shed

Earlier this week I talked about being a snake ready to shed your skin—and here we are at the Gemini Full Moon on December 4th, finding ourselves in exactly that liminal space. Not quite who we were, not quite who we're becoming, but feeling that unmistakable itch toward growth and transformation.

This moon has a restless quality to it. It's asking you to choose—to finally let go of what's been weighing you down and move forward toward who you're becoming.

The Choice is Yours

When we look at this moon through the tarot, The Lovers card (associated with Gemini) offers us a powerful reminder: the choice to let go and move forward is ours and ours alone.

Like this card itself being a crossroads of sorts, we find ourselves at an in-between moment. The same old patterns just won't do anymore. We must connect our minds and our hearts to help show us the way forward—allowing who we were and who we're becoming to inform how we move ahead and what choices we make.

The Lovers teaches us about accepting all sides of ourselves. As this moon reflects a Sagittarius Sun, part of the lesson is to trust the process and enjoy the ride. It's asking us to connect with what has passion (The Lovers) and meaning (Sagittarius) for us.

This feels like a moment where we're taking the clarity that came from recent reflection and allowing it to guide us toward a pathway that aligns with our values, passions, and sense of purpose.

There's an inherent knowing of the best way forward—but there are also temptations, easy paths, and misaligned choices on the table. The easy way is rarely as easy as it seems, and even more rarely delivers us to our genuine goals and desires. (And there's an important element here about being honest with yourself about what your goals and desires really are.)

The Duality of All Things

There's a duality to all things Gemini—and to full moons, too. A reminder that you can only see light in the dark. That every season has its turn. That fire requires air to burn. That the earth needs water to exist and thrive.

Only you know when it's time to let go and move forward. And when it's best to allow a situation to unfold and release in its own way.

Follow your heart and your head.

When faced with a choice, choose the path that connects you to the divine within.

A Simple Practice for Everyone

Light a candle (white or yellow works beautifully for Gemini energy). Take three deep breaths.

Ask yourself: What choice am I avoiding that my heart and mind both know needs to be made?

Sit with whatever arises. No need to act immediately—just acknowledge the truth that surfaces.

This moon isn't asking for perfection. It's asking for honesty.

The snake sheds its skin not because it wants to, but because it must in order to grow. The old skin served its purpose—protected, held, contained. But now it constricts rather than supports.

Maybe you're feeling that same itch. The same knowing that it's time.

Trust it.

Wishing you clarity and courage under this Gemini moon,
Erin
