Something is different about this one.
Aries season always carries the energy of the astrological new year — the first breath, the blank page, the particular courage it takes to begin again. But in 2026, we're not just starting a new season. We're stepping into a new era, and this is where we first feel it in our bones.
At the very start of this year, Saturn and Neptune both moved into Aries for the first time in our lifetimes. Saturn brings structure and the long work of building something real. Neptune brings vision and the dissolving of what no longer holds its shape. Together in Aries, they ask us to stop dreaming and act — not recklessly, but with the kind of grounded courage that moves things forward. When the Sun crosses into Aries on March 20, it joins that conversation, and something that may have felt abstract starts to feel personal.
The opening of the season is electric. All planets move direct from March 20 through May 6, and around March 22 the Neptune Cazimi brings a rare moment of clarity — inner vision and outer direction snapping into alignment. If you've been circling something, sensing something, waiting to feel sure enough, this is the window where that starts to shift. The fog lifts. The path becomes visible. What happens in these first days of the season is worth paying attention to — it's setting the tone for what you're building.
March holds three cazimis — Mercury on March 7, Neptune on March 22, and Saturn on March 25. Three in a single month is rare. Together they carry a complete arc: clarity of thought, clarity of vision, clarity of commitment. By the time Saturn reaches the heart of the Sun, you'll know exactly what you're building and why.
From there the season asks you to look up from your own path and take stock of who's walking alongside you. The Full Moon in Libra at the start of April illuminates your closest relationships — not harshly, but honestly. Where is there genuine reciprocity? Where has something drifted out of balance? Venus and Jupiter form a warm, generous aspect mid-season that creates real space for those conversations to happen with grace. This isn't a season that asks you to go it alone. It asks you to be honest about who belongs in the next chapter with you.
Then on April 12, Mars conjoins Neptune in Aries — the clearest expression of everything this season has been building toward. The drive to act meets the vision worth acting on. What felt like a dream starts to feel like a direction.
