Ritual baths are a sacred space with intentions to cleanse and protect you spiritually. Bathing is an ancient practice that crosses cultures and time. Using all the elements in the act of bathing encourages a deeper connection to Spirit and to self. Always remember that you and your intentions are the most important part of any magickal ritual.

For every new moon, I’ll be sharing a Moontail Recipe. I’ll be doing a mix of both alcohol and herbal cocktails for this series. Stay tuned for some additional elements to be added to this series to give you an entire experience to honor the moon’s energy.

This dreamy recipe is inspired by Pisces season featuring jasmine, cardamom, and pears. People with Pisces placements are hard to pin down to one thing or another - even in its symbol, you see the two fishes swimming in different directions. They are typically very sweet and very dreamy, so it seemed fitting to go with a dessert that happens to have a little wobble.

Traditionally, cranberries graced feasts from Samhain through Yule. These bright, red berries made the perfect addition to the frosting for these whoopie pies. Offering a balancing tartness to the sweet buttercream along with rejuvenation and healing for the winter season.

The Autumn Equinox, or Mabon, heralds the impending darkness as the sun begins his retreat. The beauty of the days shortening is the call to focus inwards and discover our own internal light.

Having a second new moon in the same astrological season is rather rare. This second new moon is giving us another opportunity to further our emotional healing and move closer to our spiritual freedom. The new moon is a beautiful time for rituals and inner work.
