Your Guide to the Full Moon in Taurus 2026

October 26, 2026 • 12:12 AM ET • 2° Taurus

This guide is free to read thanks to the members of Kindred Club.

One of my favorite things about taking early morning walks (before 6 AM early) is that my day begins with greeting the moon. It means I’ve spent a lot more time noticing the way she shows up in different zodiac signs throughout the year, and I have to say the Venus-ruled moons never disappoint in their general splendor. She was glowing golden this morning and casting her light out to the clouds drifting around her aura. Reminding us again of our very physical, earthly relationship to the cosmos. That the skies and astrology are meant to be observed and experienced maybe more than they’re meant to be something that prescribes what life is.

What happens when we start viewing these lunations and aspects and transits as something to be witnessed instead of something to guide every decision? What happens when we start viewing it as a relationship in the same way we consider our relationship to the land and the earth beneath us? As above, so below is a relationship after all.

And, trust, this moon has a lot to say about relationships. Much like our recent New Moon in Libra, we find ourselves with another Venus-ruled moon while Venus makes her trek through the underworld (retrograde). Some of you reading this will be exploring your relationship to your values and your self-worth in powerful and healing ways under this moon’s light. Happening at 2° Taurus, this moon connects to the 5 of Pentacles in the minor arcana. While this can be a card of material hardship and isolation—literally being left out in the cold—it equally reminds us that we are never truly alone. That if we’re willing to sacrifice convenience and comfort, that there is help, support, and belonging waiting for us. It quite literally reminds us to take time to re-evaluate our own beliefs around our self-worth as well as our values which aligns beautifully with the Venus Rx that rules this moon. Chiron is also hanging out in an out-of-sign conjunction just across the line in Aries which is also asking us to heal the wounds we’ve been carrying around these concepts.

What We Cherish and Why

Every full moon is the Sun’s light reflected back to us, and this one is lit by the Sun in Scorpio. Taurus is about what we can see, touch, and hold onto. Scorpio is about what lives underneath all of that, the parts of ourselves we don’t always look at. So while Taurus asks what we cherish, Scorpio asks why, and whether what we’re tending still lines up with who we’re becoming. Where are we holding onto something, someone, or an idea about ourselves because letting go asks us to be vulnerable?

Valuing Ourselves and Each Other

Venus is where a lot of this comes together. She met the Sun in a cazimi two days ago, the moment she’s reborn in its heart, and just hours before this moon reaches fullness she slipped back into Libra, the sign she rules. As ruler of both Taurus and Libra, she holds both sides of the values conversation. Taurus is how we relate to ourselves and what we have. Libra is how we show up with each other. A retrograde Venus invites us to revisit instead of rush forward. What do we love? What do we think we’re supposed to love? Mercury turning retrograde in Scorpio just before this moon adds to old conversations coming back around.

The Worth We Inherit

Pluto in Aquarius squares both the Sun and Moon, turning this lunation into a T-square with Chiron and Venus joining in. Pluto is about power, and about the structures that shape us long before we’re old enough to question them. A lot of what we believe about our worth, and about who gets to take up space, was handed to us by the families, cultures, and systems we grew up inside. How much of it did we ever get to choose? What might shift in our relationships if we met that question with compassion, for ourselves and each other? Maybe we’re simply asked to witness what she lights up.
