February Witches Brew | Final In-Person Meetup
Dear Magical Community,
As Magick Makers celebrates its fifth anniversary, we're embracing an exciting evolution in how we gather and grow together. For the past 18 months, our monthly Witches Brew gatherings in Durham have created a sacred space for witches, mystics, and curious souls to connect and share their journeys.
February 12th will mark our final in-person Witches Brew gathering in Durham. This transition reflects our commitment to making magical community more accessible to all, regardless of location. Moving forward, we'll be hosting our monthly gatherings virtually through Kindred Club, allowing us to welcome seekers from anywhere in the world into our circle.
This shift aligns with our vision of creating an inclusive space where practitioners can explore their craft, whether they prefer a solitary practice or one in community. Our virtual gatherings will maintain the intimate, supportive atmosphere you've come to love while opening our doors wider to welcome kindred spirits from near and far.
Join us on February 12th as we celebrate both this transition and Magick Makers' 5th anniversary. Together, we'll honor the magic we've created in Durham while embracing the expanding horizons of our community.

Join River Takada of Rivtak and Erin Harker of Magick Makers to create your own charm bag filled with herbs and talismans tailored to your intentions.
River will lead you in the basics of embroidery and hand-sewing techniques, showing you how to stitch your charm bag with care and intention on quality linen. Erin will introduce the folkloric tradition of charm bags, guiding you through herbal and crystal correspondences, and the use of sacred symbols and sigils.

During this introductory workshop, you’ll learn everything from how to prepare for a reading to interpreting the meanings of the cards without memorization. You’ll even have time to practice your newly learned skills with one another during our time together.

Unveiled | Guided Journey
Are you ready to explore the unseen realms and deepen your connection with your ancestors, spirit guides, and divine allies? In Unveiled, you’ll be guided through the ancient practice of journeying—a powerful method for crossing into the otherworlds, where meaningful connections, insights, and messages from beyond await. Whether you’re new to journeying or experienced in spiritual work, this workshop offers you the tools to embark on your own path of discovery.
✨ What’s Included:
Introduction to Journeying: Learn what journeying is, how it works, and best practices to ensure you feel safe, prepared, and empowered.
Guided Meditation to the Otherworld: Step into sacred space as I lead you through a journey to meet your ancestors, guides, and deities waiting to connect with you.
Time for Reflection & Sharing: After the journey, we’ll come together for an optional discussion to unpack your experiences and answer any questions.
This workshop offers a safe, guided way to open portals between worlds and tap into ancient wisdom. Whether you're seeking personal guidance, ancestral healing, or a sense of connection to something greater, Unveiled will leave you with practical tools and spiritual inspiration to continue your practice on your own.
